Lucara Diamond Corporation announced the sale of the 549-carat Sethunya diamond and the 1,080-carat Eva Star for a combined $54 million. It’s not completely new news. These rough diamonds, which were recovered at the Karowe mine in Botswana in 2020 and 2023 respectively, were previously sold as part of Lucara’s partnership agreement with manufacturer HB Antwerp, for which final payment was made in January-February.
