Lucara Diamond & the Race to 3,000 Carats

The recovery of a 2,492-carat rough diamond at the Karowe mine in Botswana has renewed the race toward breaking the record for the largest diamond ever mined, that was set by the Cullinan diamond over a century ago. There are several elements to the story, including technology, Botswana and Lucara Diamond Corp.
